Property to Rent

The asking rent does not include permitted letting fees within the scope of the Tenant Fees Act 2019.

Depending on your circumstances and the property you select, one of the following may also be charged to you in advance or during the tenancy;

 

• A security deposit, equivalent to five week’s rent. (This is held with the government-backed ‘My Deposits’ scheme)

 

 

• Refundable Holding Deposit

 




• Early surrender fee (if the tenant leaves early, the remaining rent will be chargeable)

 

 

• Rent arrears (interest charged at 3% above the Bank of England base rate from the date the rent is due)

 

 

• Replacement of a lost key or fob

 

 

• Payments for utilities (electricity, gas or other fuel, water or sewage)

 

 

• Payments for a Television Licence

 

 

• Communication services (telephone other than a mobile telephone, the internet, cable television, satellite television)

All charges are made on a per property basis.
